Traditional Fishermen's Festival in Schwangau

On Saturday, August 14, the Schwangau Fishing Club invites you to its popular summer festival at the village pond in Schwangau’s Kurpark. The day promises culinary highlights and musical entertainment in an idyllic setting.

Saturday kicks off at 2 p.m. with coffee and cake. Live music will also be featured starting at 6 p.m. that day.

For over four decades now, the Schwangau Fishing Club has been celebrating its summer festival at the idyllic village pond. The club was founded in 1977 and established its own fish farm at the old swimming spot on the slope of the Kurpark. Initially, about 700 trout were released into the pond; today, it is home to numerous different species of fish.
