What can I take out of the hotel room?

You will find all kinds of things in your hotel room to make your stay a pleasant one. These are intended for use in your hotel room - not to take with you. Please leave any unused items behind when you leave. By the way: we also offer the practical little shampoos and shower gels and other hygiene articles in the hotel store.

Can I take something from the breakfast buffet with me?

Quickly grab an apple for the road or make a sandwich: Some travelers feel tempted to take something with them for the day because of the rich breakfast buffet. However, the following applies: "Taking food and drinks from the breakfast restaurant is not permitted".

We will be happy to put together a packed lunch for you on request.

Can I eat food I have brought into the hotel room?

Booking a room with breakfast and then simply grabbing a quick pizza in the evening and eating it in your hotel room. This is not a good idea. We ask for your understanding that in our hotel the

consumption of food and drinks brought into the hotel is not permitted. As in the restaurant and breakfast area, for reasons of hygiene it is also not permitted to eat food you have brought into the hotel room or store it in the minibar.

We also serve drinks and snacks in the Schlossbar after the restaurant

drinks and small dishes. A selection of drinks and snacks is also available 24/7 in the breakfast room.

Can I change rooms if I don't like them?

If you do not like the location or furnishings of your room, please contact reception.

How do I get a hotel upgrade?

It is usually possible to upgrade to a higher room category if capacity is available.

If capacity is available, we also offer a free upgrade for special occasions. Do you have something to celebrate - wedding anniversary, honeymoon or a special anniversary? Let our staff know.

Can friends stay in my hotel room?

A short visit during the day is not a problem. However, third parties are not permitted to stay overnight due to legal regulations. According to the Federal Registration Act, all hotel guests must be registered. You should discuss with reception whether they can stay overnight in your room or whether it is better to book their own room.

Which areas may I still use after checking out?

If you are staying for a few hours after checking out, you can store your luggage in the left-luggage office. The sanitary facilities including showers in the basement of the castle are also still available to you.
