Guided Hike to the Spronser Lakes

An impressive high-mountain tour to Europe’s largest high-alpine lake district, organized by the Partschins, Rabland, and Töll Tourism Association.

The meeting point is at the Merano train station. From there, the group takes the bus to Pfelders. Accompanied by a hiking guide, the tour leads via the Faltschnal Alm and the Spronser Joch to the Spronser Lakes. After a lunch break at the Oberkaser Alm, the route continues via the Jägersteig to Hochmuth and then by cable car to Dorf Tirol. The return trip to Merano is by bus.

Meeting point: Merano train station, 7:10 a.m.

Return: approx. 6:00 p.m.

Walking time: approx. 7 hours

Difficulty: moderately difficult mountain hike

Prerequisites: very good physical condition, no fear of heights, and sure-footedness
