* Winter / snowshoe hike on Fanes plateau with Werner

The winter hike to the Fanes hut begins at the Pederü mountain inn, located in the most remote part of the Rau Valley in San Vigilio.

In the shadow of steep rock faces, the prepared winter trail winds gently uphill through the enchanting landscape to the upper valley floor.

After a nearly flat stretch through the rock-encircled Valun de Fanes, the path gently rises to the idyllic alpine meadows of Kleinfanes, resting under a sparkling layer of snow. A truly unique winter hike.

Start with the hotel shuttle (limited numbers of participants, possibility to follow with your own car). Total walking time ca. 4 hours, altitude difference ca. 550 m.
