Description
Our half-day tour to the Kanzelwand summit in alpine terrain is ideal for via ferrata beginners.
After an introduction to the technique, we conquer the via ferrata through the rock and over the Burma Bridge to the summit, where a magnificent all-round panoramic view awaits us.
When: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May - October, 08.05.2026 to 08.11.2026
Time & meeting point: 09.30 am, Kanzelwand valley station
Condition & material: ankle-high hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, sure-footedness and fitness for hikes of 3 to 4 hrs, sufficient drinks
Important information: Ascent approx. 300 m, walking time approx. 2 hours, via ferrata category B. Secured with your via ferrata set, you will overcome exposed passages with the help of ladders, clamps and pins. You do not need any previous via ferrata experience for this tour. Suitable for sporty beginners with surefootedness and a head for heights.
