Then the view becomes much wider and the vegetation becomes sparser giving way to the typical vegetation of alpine pastures.\n\nContinuing further, between the walls of Corno di Dosdè and the ridges of Pizzo Bianco, we reach the Viola refuge (2314 m.) and the Val Viola lake, a small lake of glacial origin located at 2267 meters.\n\nJust above the hut is the Val Viola Pass, which marks the border with Switzerland and connects with the Poschiavina Valley.\n\nMaximum altitude: 2400 m a.s.l.\n\nHeight difference: 450 m\n\nDifficulty: E (hiking)\n\nStarting point: Arnoga, Valdidentro\n\nMeeting time and place: 9:00 a.m. Arnoga, Valdidentro\n\nNotes: packed lunch\n\nEach hike will be done with a minimum of 6 people.\n\nRegistration for each hike is mandatory and must be done by 4 p.m. the day before the outing.\n\nIt is the guide's discretion to modify/cancel the hike in case of particularly bad weather conditions.
