E-Bike & Hike to the Bärenkopf

Experience the combination of biking and hiking. The Bike and Hike Tour to the Bärenkopf combines physical activity with one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Lake Achensee.

Together, we’ll cover the first part of the route by e-bike, riding to the Bärenbadalm at 1,457 meters above sea level. From there, the ascent on foot begins to the 1,991-meter-high Bärenkopf—arguably the most beautiful mountain with panoramic views on Lake Achensee. Once at the top, you’ll be treated to an impressive panoramic view of the entire lake—from the clear southern shore to the rocky north—as well as the surrounding mountains.

Good physical condition, sure-footedness, and hiking boots are required for this tour.

Note: Please reserve your e-bike the evening before at the LustBOXX on Level -1. Cost: €55.00, including a helmet. Participation with your own e-bike is free.

Difficulty: Moderate (red mountain trail)

Elevation gain: approx. 1,000 (600 by e-bike and 400 on foot)

Duration: approx. 5–6 hours

Equipment: sturdy shoes, weatherproof clothing, sunscreen, helmet, water bottle, and snacks, cash for a possible stop at the Bärenbadalm
