HIKE TO THE BUCHELALPE
The Buchelalpe is a mountain hut on the Wertacher Hörnle. The hut can be reached from the parking lot in Obergschwend in just under three quarters of an hour. From the hut you have a wonderful view over Unterjoch to the Sorgschrofen as well as to some peaks of the Tannheim mountains and over to the Kühgundkopf and the Iseler. The alp is open in summer except Mondays from 10:00 to 17:00. In winter, the Buchelalpe is open at weekends and during the school vacations. In the cold season, you can toboggan back down to the valley via the asphalted hut path.
HOW TO GET THERE:
From the parking lot in Obergschwend, it takes just under 45 minutes via the asphalted hut path (230 meters in altitude) or alternatively via the meadow path. https://www.buchelalpe.de/
