A festival for the whole family

On the first Sunday in Advent, November 30, 2025, the village square in Tux-Lanersbach will be transformed into an atmospheric Advent village from 3.00 pm. It all starts with a musical opening in the Tux parish church from 3.00 pm, before the Advent market opens its doors afterwards.

The Tux Advent offers everything your heart desires in the run-up to Christmas: mulled wine, punch, chestnuts and handmade Zillertal specialties. Special attention is also paid to the little guests: under the motto "Letters to the Christ Child", the children's program invites them to do handicrafts, write and dream. Another highlight for children is the cozy baking of stick bread over the campfire, where little adventurers can roast their own bread over an open flame. The chronicler Franz-Josef Haag also offers exciting insights into the life and history of the region with pictures and videos from times gone by.

At 16:00, Mayor Simon Grubauer opens the Advent market together with the Tux brass band, accompanied by music from "Die jungen Mayrhofner". A highlight is the entry of St. Nicholas with his angels at 5.30 pm, followed by the traditional devil's procession at 6.30 pm, which bathes the village square in mystical light.

Additional bus connections are available for all visitors until 8.00 pm - so that the festive finale is completely relaxed.
