Easy hike in the fresh nature to the Dalfaz waterfall

From the hotel, we only have to hike up a short distance until we

we reach the Buchau waterfall. This is worth seeing in spring, when

meltwater in the mountains sends enough water down into the valley.

We then continue along the hiking trail through the forest towards the Dalfaz waterfall. With a drop of around 60 m, this is the highest waterfall in the Rofan mountains. It is located on the sunny side above Lake Achensee.

After a short break at the Dalfaz waterfall, where we take some nice photos and recharge our batteries, we hike back to the hotel via the forest road.

What to bring: Sports or hiking clothing, sturdy shoes, something to drink

Total duration: approx. 1.5 hours

Info: suitable for the whole family, for children from approx. 6 years, should be able to hike uphill for 45 minutes over hill and dale
