We take a road with little traffic for about 1,000 meters uphill into the Zillertal Arena. We ride past old farms and green alpine meadows to the middle station of the Rosenalmbahn. From here, we continue the last few meters of altitude on a forest path, past the Fichtenschloss and to the Fichtensee, where we take a short break. If you have packed your swimming trunks or bikini, you might want to take a dip in the refreshing, crystal-clear lake.
