Sunrise on the Figerhorn & brunch at the Lucknerhaus

Guided sunrise tour to the Figerhorn (2,743 m) & subsequent brunch at the Lucknerhaus (1,920 m)

EARLY MORNING: Waking up at the LUCKNERHAUS

We start our hike at the Lucknerhaus. The starting point of our route up to the Figerhorn. The night slowly gives way to the first morning light.

(Exact start time will be announced the day before!)

ASCENT TO THE FIGERHORN

Step by step, the path leads us through the tranquil mountain world up to the summit. Around three hours of walking, breathing and coming to terms with ourselves.

THE MAGICAL MOMENT ON THE SUMMIT

On reaching the summit, we experience the sunrise in all its glory. Warm light floods the mountains. We are filled with strength, silence and vastness.

RETURN TO THE VALLEY

Strengthened by the light and the impressions of the morning, we hike back to the

Lucknerhaus. The view is still filled with the glow of the mountains.

BRUNCH AT THE LUCKNERHAUS

An excellent breakfast awaits us at the Lucknerhaus.

Strengthened by the light and the good food, we then make our way home. Fulfilled and recharged

Meeting point: Lucknerhaus in Kals am Großglockner (toll road)

Time: will always be announced the day before.

Ascent: approx. 3 hours

Altitude difference: 800 - 850

Total tour time: approx. 5 hours

Difficulty: moderately difficult tour | sure-footedness required

Equipment: warm clothing (very cool temperatures in the morning), hiking boots or good trekking shoes, warm drink, small snack, hiking poles, headlamp if available
