Across the State Line and Back!
Every Saturday from December 19, 2026, through April 3, 2027
A round trip through Germany. On this tour, we’ll cross the state line along little-known trails. After a short bus ride, we’ll set off from Unterwestegg. Here, we’ll immerse ourselves in the winter wonderland, listen to the silence, and let ourselves be enchanted by glittering snow crystals before reaching the Söllereck ski area. Here, we’ll find several inviting spots for our lunch break. After a leisurely break, we’ll head back. There are several routes to choose from—let yourself be surprised.
Meeting point: 9:15 a.m., Bergschule Kleinwalsertal
Duration: approx. 5 hours
Fitness level: Sure-footedness, fitness for ascents of between 500 and 700 hm and walking times of up to 6 hours.
Price: €80 per person, including snowshoes and poles; avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe—if necessary (provided on loan)
Minimum number of participants: 4 people or more
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high boots (mountain boots) or hiking boots, winter clothing, and a backpack with some provisions.
