FUN AND THRILLS
If you're looking for a sporting challenge, you can't miss the Penken. Austria's steepest piste experience awaits the very brave here: the legendary Harakiri with a 78 percent gradient. It is the blackest piste in the Zillertal and should only be attempted by absolute experts.
Action-packed is the Penken Park, one of the best snowparks in Europe. In six areas with different levels of difficulty, beginners can try their first jumps, experts can hone their style and absolute pros can let off steam on the giant kickers.
All speed junkies can let off steam on the three permanent speed tracks Gold, Silver and Bronze in the racing paradise Unterberg. But the Penken also has its quiet and leisurely sides with several enjoyable downhill runs.
A real highlight for fun lovers is the Fun Ride Gerent with many child-friendly obstacles, waves, steep turns and snails.
Pleasure Mountain Ahorn
RELAXATION AND ENJOYABLE CARVING
Ahorn is the epicurean mountain and the perfect winter wonderland for families as well as pleasure seekers. Wide carving slopes are ideal for elegant turns and first attempts of not so experienced skiers and snowboarders.
The Fun Ride Ahorn and the Albert Adler Tour or the crisp 5.5 km long downhill run to Mayrhofen offer variety.
The Ahorn also offers a wide range of leisure activities for non-skiers. For example a winter hike on the panorama trail Ahorn or up to the Filzenkogel with a breathtaking view. A very special tobogganing experience and lots of fun for young and old is offered by a fast ride on the Pistenbock.
