2nd treasure: The return of the bearded vulture

An unforgettable nature experience awaits in Windachtal: with a bit of luck, you can observe the bearded vulture in the wild. Together with bearded vulture manager Elisabeth Weninger, we go in search of the impressive bird of prey and experience it up close with binoculars and a spotting scope. All participants will learn exciting facts about the bearded vulture's way of life and its successful return to the Alps. You will also receive valuable tips on how to spot the bearded vulture on your own tours. A special highlight for nature enthusiasts and anyone who wants to rediscover the wildlife of the Alps.

Equipment

Sturdy, ankle-high mountain boots | rain protection | food | possibly seat cushions | if available, binoculars. Binoculars if available (free binoculars rental at the nature park, possible upon registration) | cash for a possible stop-off and for any additional costs such as bus travel
