The easy hike leads from Dobbiaco - Stelvio via the Dobbiaco high trail to the Silvesteralm and further to the Steinbergalm at the foot of the border mountain Markingele.
The newly restored hut is located at 1,927 m above sea level and prepares a beautiful view over the valley.
