The Way of St. James at Chorin Monastery
The Way of St. James from Szczecin to Berlin leads directly past Chorin Monastery - a special place for a break full of silence and contemplation.
Instead of following the old Via Imperii on today's B2, the trail now runs along quiet hiking routes such as the Märkischer Landweg - through places such as Schwedt, Angermünde, Chorin and Eberswalde.
Pilgrims will find an official pilgrim's stamp on site and the opportunity for inner contemplation in the monastery chapel. It is also possible to stay overnight - for example at the nearby Hotel Haus Chorin, surrounded by greenery.
