Details

From the Hintertux Glacier Cable Car valley station, we take Glacier Bus 1 to the Sommerbergalm, where we begin our hike to the Kasererscharte. We then follow the trail along the ridge up to the summit of the Weiße Wand at 2,518 m

During a leisurely break at the Tuxerjochhaus, we enjoy the magnificent view of the Tuxer Ferner and then continue hiking to the Sommerbergalm, where we take the Glacier Bus back down to the valley.

Tour details:

🚶↔ Hiking tour: approx. 4 hrs

🏔️↑ Elevation gain: approx. 700 hm

🥾 🥾Difficulty: moderate❗️Sure-footedness, a head for heights, and good stamina required!

Equipment: sturdy, ankle-high hiking boots, a spare T-shirt, water bottles, sunscreen, a snack, a rain/wind jacket, and cash for refreshments.

🍽️Refreshment stop: Tuxerjochhaus from July through the end of September

- Registration required!

- Transportation costs will be charged on a pro-rata basis. There are 8 seats available on our hotel bus. If the bus is already full, please follow us in your own car.
