Baby swimming
every Monday from 10 - 12 o'clock
No fear of water - bathing makes babies smart
By nature, babies love being in the water - it reminds them of the familiar environment in the amniotic fluid. Swimming is therefore a pleasant experience for babies, which is also of great benefit to their health, because: Babies who swim later become sociable, skillful and smart children.
Angela Gallistl from Bad Ischl has been a midwife for 18 years and has been organizing baby and toddler swimming courses for 10 years and is a member of the Austrian Baby Swimming Association. The smallest course participants are pulled through the water, splashed and caressed. Those who trust their child can even let it dive - under Angela's supervision. At the end of the swim lesson, the little ones feel exhilarated and tired. In addition to the movement training, there is intensive physical contact between child and parent. This is where they experience things together, where they are supported and held. In addition, according to a study by the Cologne Sports University, "water rats" develop significantly better, are more easily motivated to perform later in life, can concentrate better and pass intelligence tests more successfully.
Baby swimming courses (3-18 months) and toddler swimming courses (18-36 months) are held at the Ebensee indoor swimming pool.
