From Unterplanken via the Schuher Alm, the Golfen to the Hochhorn.


Here you leave the normal alpine path and climb directly through sparse spruce forest on the left side of the mountain stream.


Starting point & parking lot: Unterplanken in Pichl/Gsieser Tal 1213m

Descent:via the ascent route

Walking time: approx. 5 hours

Difficulty: moderately difficult; for intermediate skiers; open terrain with moderate slope, the alpine difficulties are minimal

Difference in altitude: 1400m

Slope: southwest

Favorable period: December to March
