An easy, traditional climb to what is arguably the most beautifully shaped peak in the Montafon

With its unique shape, the Zimba dominates the outer Montafon. That is why the Zimba also appears on the Montafon Mountain Guide logo—and because we simply love being out on this mountain. From the Heinrich Hueter Hut, you can reach the summit in about 3–4 hours via the classic west ridge. For advanced mountaineers, a traverse from east to west is also possible. On a clear day, the view stretches from Piz Buin (3,312 m) all the way to Lake Constance. Our mountain guides will be happy to advise you personally on the requirements and help you reach this dream destination.

Meeting point: 7:00 a.m. at the Heinrich Hueter Hut (overnight stay recommended) or by arrangement.

Requirements

- Good physical condition

- Sure-footedness on trail-less and rocky terrain

- No fear of heights

- Climbing experience is an advantage, but not required
