Whether you’re looking to go on your first ski tour, have already gained some touring experience and want to improve your technique and knowledge, or simply want to enjoy some beautiful ski tours, Then you’ve come to the right place with the pros at Bergwelt Oberstaufen & the Kleinwalsertal Mountain School!
Our 2-day ski touring camp offers you the perfect mix of ski tours for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers, along with an informative social program on two evenings spent together, including meals at the Walserhaus.
The Kleinwalsertal offers us dream tours for both ascents and descents, making it the ideal area for our ski tours. The Walserhaus in Hirschegg serves as our event center and starting point for our tours. We’ll also be based there for our test sessions, presentations, and dinners. We set off daily at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Walserhaus. We’ll travel the routes in the valley together using the Walser buses.
You can choose one of four themes for the weekend:
Theme 1: Ski Touring Beginner Course (Beginners / Returning Skiers)
1-day ski touring beginner course
1 day of ski touring with a mountain guide
Theme 2: Ski Technique and Tactics for Ski Touring Descents (Beginners – Advanced)
1 day of ski technique and tactics for ski touring descents with support from OK Bergbahnen
1 day on a ski tour with a mountain guide
Theme 3: Avalanche Victim Search Training and Risk Management (Beginners – Advanced)
1 day of avalanche victim search training and risk management in the backcountry
1 day on a ski tour with a mountain guide
Topic 4: Ski Touring with a Mountain Guide (Experienced & Advanced)
2 days of ski touring with a mountain guide
Fitness/Equipment: You must bring your own functional equipment. To participate, you must be able to ski safely off-piste at a slow pace and have the physical fitness for ski tours covering at least 700 meters of elevation gain per day.
