Jakobskreuz Pillerseetal

A monumental summit cross, the largest in the world, stands on the Buchensteinwand, the most beautiful panoramic mountain in Pillerseetal. The 30-metre-high structure has a lift, several viewing platforms and even seminar rooms. It sits enthroned on the top of the Buchensteinwand (1,456 meters) like a lighthouse high above a cliff. Its panoramic viewing platform is almost 30 meters high and offers fantastic views of the peaks of the Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge mountains, the Wildseeloder and even the Kitzbüheler Horn.
