Dog Walks Around Lenzerheide

Our four-legged guests will also have a great time at Lenzerheide! There are many beautiful trails for relaxing walks around Lake Heidsee and through the stunning mountain scenery.

If you’re planning a hike that would be too strenuous for your dog, we offer dog-sitting every weekday—or, if you leave your dog at your lodging, we’ll take them for walks.

Here are our favorite dog-friendly routes:

Heidsee Loop Trail

Starting point: Heidsee parking lot or surrounding area, Lenzerheide

Duration: approx. 1–1.5 hours

Difficulty: easy

The trail around Heidsee is ideal for a leisurely walk with your dog. The route runs along the water and offers beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains at every turn. The atmosphere is especially beautiful in the morning or toward evening.

Crap la Tretscha – Lantsch

Starting point: Village center or parking lot near Lantsch/Lenz

Duration: approx. 1.5–2 hours

Difficulty: easy

The hike leads through varied forest up to the Crap la Tretscha lookout point. There, a beautiful view toward Savognin and the Julier Pass awaits you. Most of the route follows wide forest trails, making it pleasant to walk even with a dog. There’s also a picnic area at the viewpoint if you’d like to take a short break.

HEIDSEE – VALBELLA – RABIOSA

Starting point: Heidsee, Lenzerheide

Duration: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours

Difficulty: easy to moderate

If you’d like to extend your hike, you can walk from Heidsee toward Valbella and continue along the Rabiosa route. This varied route takes you through forests and meadows and offers your dog plenty of interesting sights.

Depending on your preference and fitness level, you can customize the route by making it longer or shorter.

Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash on some sections of the trail.
