Helpful facts

At 400 years old, it is the oldest alpine hut in Grossarltal. There is no electricity here and the floor of the hut is still covered with clay. At the Karseggalm, you will feel as if you have been transported back several decades into the past as you watch the open fire and experience the laborious manual management.

Departure: 10:00 am / meeting point reception

Return: approx. 15:00

Walking time - just under 2 hours (there & back)
