Stroll train ride through the Grossarl Valley

Take the slow train to Hüttschlag (departure is at 10:00 am at the cable car parking lot. Please arrive a little earlier to collect and pay for the vouchers at the reception in the Hotel Tauernhof) and explore the traffic-free valley head and the almost untouched nature. Take a leisurely hike along hiking trails and small footbridges, past the natural Kneipp pool to Hüttschlager Lake. You can also visit the valley museum with the exhibition "Auf der Alm - Zwischen Himmel und Erde". Then head back in the direction of Großarl. On the way you stop at the rustic monument farm "Kösslerhäusl". There you will be served freshly baked farmer's doughnuts as well as fragrant coffee from the farmers' wives of Großarl.
