Fairy Tale Weeks Oct. 9–Nov. 8, 2026

Every fall, the entire Wirthshof is transformed into a lively world of fairy tales and legends for princesses and frog kings of all ages.

The witches’ dances and baking bread on a stick over the campfire are the secret highlights.

A professional activity program that tells myths and goes far beyond Rumpelstiltskin’s dances.

Fairy tales, picture-book movies, fairy-tale puzzles, magical crafts, and much more.

Here, the children themselves become part of the living vacation story.

Are you one of our “Princesses and the Pea”? Whoever finds the pea under their pillow or anywhere else on the Wirthshof wins a surprise.

Special events during this time:

Children’s Theater Festival in Markdorf: October 13–17, 2026

Pumpkin Festival and spookily wonderful experiences: October 25–November 1, 2026
