Sonntagskogel & Maurachalm - medium

Medium hike above the tree line with probably the most beautiful panoramic view in the region.

The starting point is the mountain station of the Alpendorf gondola lift (access right next to the Alpina). The hike leads via the Buchauhütte to the Gernkogelalm, over a wide saddle the hiking trail leads towards the Sonntagskogel.

Continue to the Maurachalm: Shortly before the summit of the Sonntagskogel, turn off in the direction of the Maurachalm. This is one of the most rustic mountain pastures in the country.
