Walks and promenades
To the monastery and back. Or, the Bachdammrunde, as the people of Brixen affectionately call their walks along the river. Fine walks and short hikes start directly in the city. The most beautiful is along the Eisack. Sit down on a bench and watch the power of the water or have a picnic on the river bank.

Spring hike
Hardly out of the city, nature is at your feet. First through meadows, then through vines and finally through the dense forests. Every now and then you pass a village where small inns invite you to take a break. A plate of Schlutzkrapfen or an apple strudel with café provides a little refreshment. Tip: take a Törggele hike in autumn.
