Ice bathing in Lake Achensee: Immerse yourself in the clear water and feel the invigorating power of the cold. Activate your body and mind and leave refreshed, invigorated and full of energy.
Ice bathing or cold bathing strengthens the immune system and has a positive effect on the psyche. A brief cold stimulus trains the blood vessels, which contract and dilate during immersion, while the alternation of cold and heat additionally stimulates the immune system. Adrenaline and endorphins are released during immersion, which provides a euphoric feeling of happiness and revitalizes body and mind.
After a theoretical introduction and practical exercises, you will take an ice bath together in the lake.
Please bring headgear, towel/bathrobe and bathing shoes.
Contraindications: Heart & vascular problems
