Circular hike from Seefeld to the Lottenseehütte and Muggenmossalm

The hike starts at the well-known Seefelder Seekirchl and initially continues toward the World Cup Arena. Just before reaching it, the trail branches off to the left. A short, steep climb near the fitness studio brings you to Forest Trail No. 2, which you follow at a leisurely pace all the way to Mösern.

In Mösern, the trail continues along the Broch-Weg. Here, it’s worth making a brief stop at the Peace Bell—a symbol of peace in the Alps. The view from up here of the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains is impressive and makes this section of the tour something special. The trail then continues via the Pirschtsteig to the Lottenseehütte. An ideal opportunity for a break, as the hut treats you to regional delicacies and invites you to linger.

After refueling, the route continues to the Ropferstub’m Inn and past the Buchener Höhe Inn (unmanned). From there, follow the forest road into Muggenmoos, a quiet, idyllic area. Here you’ll find the Muggenmoosalm, a small, rustic hut that invites you to take another break. If you like, you can take a quick breather here before continuing on.

The final section leads past the Wildmoosalm and finally back to Seefeld via the Hörmannweg or the road. A varied loop with beautiful views and cozy places to stop for refreshments.
