The Koppentalweg is a fascinating hike in the Ausseerland region that winds through a beautiful gorge landscape for about 12 kilometers. Along the route between Bad Aussee and Obertraun, various interactive stations offer exciting insights into nature and history. Highlights include the suspension bridge over the Koppentraun, the impressive avalanche chutes of the Hoher Sarstein, an old railroad tunnel, and the remarkable Koppenbrüller Cave. An easy hiking route with plenty of opportunities to rest and enjoy interesting nature experiences!
