The Cultural Festival in Laas

Every year on the first weekend in August, Laas hosts the colorful street festival “Marmor & Marillen,” which brings together the culinary and cultural highlights of Schlanders and Laas. Over two eventful days, visitors can sample specialties featuring the Vinschgau apricot and witness the crafting of white marble at open-air cultural venues.

Forty market stalls invite visitors to stroll and shop at their leisure. The program ranges from cultural hikes, gourmet meals, and exhibitions to fascinating lectures on the favorite stone of royal families, architects, and artists—Laas marble.
