Trip to the Reith Alpe

The Reith Alpe is located at the foot of the Tegelberg and is only a few minutes walk from the Tegelberg valley station.

The Alpe is managed in summer and due to its proximity to the valley a popular stop not only for hikers and mountain bikers, but also for those on short notice, as it can be reached from Schwangau by bike

or in 15 minutes by car (parking lot at Tegelbergstraße 33).

As soon as you have taken a seat on the terrace, you will feel the special atmosphere of the Reith-Alpe. Because although located close to the valley, you feel as if you are in the middle of the mountains.

The view from here to Neuschwanstein Castle is unique!
