Yin yoga is a calm and meditative yoga practice that can bring body, mind and soul into harmony. In this class, we spend longer in gentle, passive postures, usually between 3 and 7 minutes, giving the body time to reach deeper layers of connective tissue (fascia). Conscious breathing and mindful awareness can create space for letting go, regeneration and inner peace.
This class is ideal for calming down or as a counterbalance to dynamic yoga styles and sports. Each posture is taken with the support of aids such as cushions, pillows or blocks so that the body can relax completely.
The yoga session takes place in the yoga room at Sonnhof Alpendorf.
