Starting point and walking time:

Take the bus/car to Hochsölden, high-altitude hiking trail above the tree line to the Rettenbach Alm with beautiful mountain panorama (walking time approx. 45 min)

Also accessible by car via the glacier road.

Popular starting point for tours to the Rotkogeljochhütte, Schwarzsee, Schwarzkogl, from the Tiefenbach glacier to Vent, from the middle station and the Gaislachalm to Zwieselstein.
