Tour description

This winter hike takes you into one of the most pristine valleys in the region: the Tschamin Valley between Schlern and Rosengarten.

Starting point is St. Zyprian. From here, you hike across snow-covered meadows to the entrance of the Tschamin Valley and continue in the direction of Schwarzer Lett. The path now becomes narrower and climbs steadily, while the wintry silence of the valley accompanies you.

The destination of the hike is the Rechter Leger, an idyllic resting place with impressive views of the Grasleitentürme towers and the Tschamin peaks. After an enjoyable break, cross the Tschaminbach stream and hike back to the starting point on the opposite side of the valley.

Special features

Wild and romantic winter landscape away from the ski slopes

Great views of the Dolomites in the inner Tschamin Valley

Quiet, natural paths

Ideal tour for experienced winter hikers

💡 Tip: Due to the length and the difference in altitude, you should allow enough time. Winter-proof mountain boots and, if necessary, grödel are recommended
