The Untersberg mountain, which can be seen clearly in the distance from Schloss Leopoldskron, rises above Salzburg and offers an unforgettable view of the city and the surrounding area. Via Ferrata trails lead to the 1,973 m high summit, and the Untersberg cable car is also available for an easier ascent.

The all-inclusive Salzburg Card offers free entry to many sights and museums and free use of public transport. The Untersberg cable car is included in the Salzburg Card. You can get the Salzburg Card at Reception.
