We take the hotel bus to Trafoi. Here we warm up at the foot of King Ortler. At 3,905 m, the majestic mountain giant is the highest mountain in Val Venosta/Vinschgau and when it's not in the clouds, we can marvel at its impressive glaciers. After just under an hour, we reach the small practice via ferrata and can climb up on 2 different routes while enjoying the view of the Madatschspitze. The via ferrata only has a difference in altitude of 130 m, making it suitable for sporty beginners. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required.
