Children's day at Tannroda Castle

- Knight games, magic clown, fire department, Maltheser with ambulance, outdoor children's games, Hawaiian hula, music and fire show

- 2 bouncy castles

- Cotton candy and waffles, freshly baked cakes from the Tannroda local history association and hearty snacks from GastRaum Heinrich (for a fee)

Admission and activities are free.

The food and drinks on offer can be purchased at moderate prices.

"From fortress to meeting place" is the motto at Tannroda Castle in the Thuringian Castle Year 2024

We also want to use this motto to organize the World Children's Day festival for our little guests.

Here you will meet heroes of times long past and of today. With Knight Leonhard you will experience adventure, duels, archery, swearing the knight's oath and much more. Help the magic clown with her magic tricks and dance the Hawaiian hula and meet the heroes of today with the Tannroda fire department, the fire department and sports club, the magic clown Claudia, the storyteller and the Malthesers. People who save the lives of others, or people who teach children about encounters and community through play, adventure and music.

You will experience how "Tannroda makes music". People who are involved in music, either professionally or in their free time, create a colorful program for young and old in the Tannroda church. This is followed by the project: "New sounds for Tannroda". Here you and the adults can help to invent music. Everyone is welcome to contribute to this piece of music with their voice, an instrument or other means.

After so much action and music, we want to relax.

We listen to puppeteer Angela Ziedler's fairy tale for the evening hour.

"Two cardboard boxes, a black cloth over them, a curtain - that's the belly box theater. The actors are a bobble, a teapot, woolly socks, a shampoo bottle... And this is where the fairy tale of the unlucky boy who is really always unlucky begins. Until he meets the lucky princess who might be able to change that..."

Our festival ends at dusk with a fire show by LumenCantus.
