Joint Summer Concert

Kicking off the Wind Music Summer Together.

Three Walser bands invite you to a special concert premiere on Thursday, June 18, at 8:00 p.m. on the village square in Hirschegg.

With a unique collaborative project, the Harmonie Mittelberg Music Association, the d'Hirschegger Music Association, and the Riezlern Traditional Band will jointly kick off this year’s brass music summer in the Kleinwalsertal.

The audience can look forward to a varied program: Each band will first perform its own concert segment, presenting the full range of modern brass music—from traditional marches and polkas to rousing film music and concert pieces. This is followed by the highlight of the evening: all the musicians come together to form a large orchestra and perform together under the direction of the bandmaster. The Kleinwalsertal Music School is also involved in the project and helps to highlight the connection between young musicians and the established associations.

Refreshments will be provided for visitors.

Admission is free, but the bands welcome voluntary donations.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will take place at the Walserhaus.

With this special premiere, the three bands are sending a strong message of community spirit and cordially invite locals and guests alike to kick off the 2026 Brass Music Summer together.
