Mountain Lake Tour: "Schwarzsee" (2.455m) & "Pfoisee"

Today's demanding hiking tour takes us to a beautiful mountain tour with incredible panoramic views:

We start from St. Magdalena, at end of the valley, and hike up to the Poi Hut and then continue until we reach the junction: High Cross & Black Lake. Along a small and steep trail, we arrived to the “Gsieser Lenke”. From here we walk downhill for a few minutes, and finally we arrive to the beautiful Mountain Lake: Black Lake at 2.,455m.

From here, at 2,455m, in the heart of the Gsieser and Villgrater mountains, we can enjoy magnificent panoramas.

After a rest at the lake, we return to the “Gsieser Lenke” and on the way 12 we return back to Hotel Quelle.

Walking time: about 5.5 hours

about 1.150 meters difference in altitude
