Firing up correctly

If the stove/chimney has a slider, first make sure that it is open.

Then stack the wood crosswise, parallel or upright. For the top layer, leave space between the logs by placing two logs crosswise for the kindling cube. See picture. Then you can light the kindling cube and you're done.
