Hirzelweg

A wonderful hike at the foot of the Rosengart with a view of Latemar.

Starting point: Hotel Moseralm

You start from Hotel Moseralm and take trail number 9 with the small ascent through the forest. You cross the road and then continue on trail number 9. The path has a slightly steep ascent and is suitable for experienced hikers.

This is a gravel path, so good hiking boots are recommended.

During the hike, you will enjoy a breathtaking view.

About 50 minutes later, you will reach a viewpoint. In about 50 minutes you will reach a viewpoint where you can take a rest.

From here you can either continue to the Paolina hut (approx. 20 minutes) or even further to the Christomannos monument (approx. 30 minutes).

You can take the same route back or take the Paolina lift down to the valley station.

Altitude difference: 600 m.

Duration: approx. 2.5- 3 hrs.

For those who prefer the easier option, you can take the Tschein chairlift and then the König Laurin II gondola lift to the Laurins Lounge and then the Hirzelsteig approx. 1.5 h to the Christomannos monument.
