"Taster" workshop for handpans

No previous knowledge is required to take part. The instruments will be provided. You are of course also welcome to bring your own handpan.

Making music with the handpan is not as difficult as with other instruments. Once you've made a start, it's easy to continue on your own.

Workshop contents

- Basic concept of the handpan

- Touch techniques, thumbs and fingers

- Musical basics: scale, intervals

- Intuitive playing & playing first grooves / rhythms

- Testing handpans of different tunings

If you would like to refresh yourself after the workshop, you are very welcome at the Biberblick restaurant.
