The Highest Farmers' Market in the Alps in Ski amadé
For over five years, Ski amadé guests have been able to visit the Highest Farmers' Market in the Alps - during the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week from March 12 to 19, 2022 in all five Ski amadé regions. So the Einkehrschwung in the whole area becomes quasi a market visit.
At the more than 30 stalls against an impressive mountain backdrop, the wide range of traditional farm products from the region's own production will be on sale: various types of cheese, farmhouse bacon, wild salami and much more. In addition, skiers can also taste something at some of the stands: Plattlkrapfen with sauerkraut, for example, or genuine Pinzgauer Kasnocken.
The regional producers themselves stand behind their market stalls and have pretty fabric backpacks with them, so that the purchase can also be transported practically down to the valley.
