Hiking trail to the Toplitzsee

Located in the wonderful mountain world are the Grundlsee and Toplitzsee lakes. On the way from Grundlsee to Toplitzsee we find many herbal spots that are also suitable for consumption. We start at Grundlsee, the largest lake in Styria. Our destination is the legendary Toplitzsee. "Supposedly, gold treasures from the Nazi era were sunk in the Toplitzsee. In the past, many divers went in search of the great treasure. In fact, only vast quantities of counterfeit British pound notes came to light". But as is so often the case, the journey is the reward - the trail offers us an extremely varied hike that takes us through paths with different subsoils and we will stop off at the "Fischerhütte" on the shore of Lake Toplitz. Our way back leads along a leisurely walk along the Traun river back to Grundlsee.
