Cold water bathing & breathwork with Pia in summer

Have you ever tried ice bathing? Combined with Wim Hof breathing, you can do it, too. The Wim Hof Method combines breathing techniques with cold exposure (ice bathing)

and mindful concentration. Ice bathing strengthens the immune system, promotes blood circulation, and boosts the production of killer cells. Plus, you’ll burn plenty of calories. The mindful breathing technique prepares your body for the cold and helps you develop the mental resilience to withstand it. In the process, you’ll experience an increase in mental and physical resilience and feel a surge of happiness.

Before breakfast, we’ll take the Coolnest shuttle (approx. 5 min.) to the “Gumpen” amid the magnificent scenery of the Zemmschlucht gorge. “Gumpen” are crystal-clear natural pools filled with fresh mountain spring water. In this dreamlike natural setting, we’ll take some time for a short, guided breathing exercise based on the Wim Hof Method. Afterward, we’ll head into the cold water for a few minutes. After a quick warm-up and a hot cup of tea, we’ll head back to the hotel—feeling happy and full of energy—where breakfast is already waiting for you. As a coolnest guest, this experience is, of course, free for you. Sign up and meet at the front desk. Please pack swim trunks or a bikini, a towel, and a bathrobe.
