Schwangau St. Nicholas Market

The popular culinary St. Nicholas market has long since become a real tradition in the village, opening again this year and spoiling visitors with homemade delicacies and sweet Christmas baked goods. The lovingly decorated wooden stalls are lit up for Christmas from the afternoon and offer a wide range of culinary delights as well as handmade gifts, accessories and Christmas decorations.

As soon as it gets dark, Santa Claus drives up in a horse-drawn carriage and hands out little surprises. The proceeds from all sales at the market benefit social institutions such as kindergartens or people in need in the village.
