It is precisely these lively and varied soundscapes—so characteristic of Baroque music—that unite Bach and his contemporary Telemann with the Finnish composer, pianist, and conductor Olli Mustonen. Mustonen’s wild and energetic “Nonetto II” for strings is a showpiece for the musicians.
